Great pictures of your group! Care pointing out who is who to the untrained eye?

Hi,

Yes i show them, well Mayday and Gracie. Heidi hasn't been shown yet but will be soon.
First 2 pics are Gracie (5yo female), the next 2 are Mayday at the groomers, he'll be 3 in February. The next 3 are Heidi, she'll be one on 17th Dec. The last pic is Mayday, taken by a photographer at Navan show in August.
Gracie and Mayday are Heidi's parents.

What do you use to bath them? My mastiffs really need a bath,LOL
My male has a thicker coat, what brush do you use? Hope you don't mind my asking? i want them to look at least half as good as your dogs do! What's the trick???

Hi Sentry,
There's no trick i'm afraid. Gracie has a great coat, it's always shiny and very easy to look after, she also never stops cleaning herself. Maydays coat is a nightmare, if he's not brushed at least 3 times a week he gets full of nots. Heidi looks good in those pics because i had just washed her. I just use a normal slicker brush but have just got a Furminator, haven't used it yet but everyone claims it's great.

For washing them i have one of the old type shower things that fit onto hot and cold taps, i just modified it a bit so i could have a long hose on it and i wash them in the back yard.

Darn, I was hoping for a good trick,LOL Beautiful coats on your dogs, just beautiful!
I did the same thing, long hose and I think, i will invest in a really good set of slicker brushes now. I should try the furminator too...please let me know how it works for you. Thanks!

Just gorgeous big, blocky heads on all 3 of your dogs.....
My sister has a St. but she was from a shelter, they told her they knew she was from a local BYB and has poor hips. Sweetest dog ever and not a drooler, so they got lucky with that at least, lol! She comes over for play dates with my pack all the time.
Be careful with that Furminator----it has a blade on it!!!
I use it for my Rottie and it works great, but I would NOT use it if I were showing him because it does break the coat.

Thanks Guys, Missfitz, your sister is very lucky if her saint isn't a drooler. Mine aren't bad but my very first saint drooled constantly. Yeah - BYB's are everywhere, hope her hips aren't too bad. It's a problem in saints,Gracie and Mayday have good hips thankfully. I can't get Heidi done until she's a year old so will do it in Jan. Thanks for the advice on the furminator - i haven't got around to trying it out yet.
