Thanks everyone. I just traced around one of Baileys barn jackets and then cut it shorter and snipped a little here and there until it was small enough. I do have to get some better velcro for my next attempt and I need an iron on stiffener ( sp) material between the black and red layers to make it more stiff and thicker. I just bought the cheapest material I could find for my first attempt. My mom wants to use jean material with the back pocket left on in the back.....I don't really like that idea....getting too cutsie for me. I want to put a little pocket on each side that will hold a little strobe / flasher so I can see them at night. It is so hard to see my black little weiners when walking at night...I always step on them when they stop. I won't sell them or anything, anyone can make them if they have a little dog coat that already fits their dog. It was super easy and my Mom ( the faster sewer) had them ready in less than a day from start to finish.
