Hear hear. Especially if you can't be bothered to contain your intact dog and watch it like a hawk.

A neighbor's mutt bitch gave birth in September and they just found a home for the last pup. Another neighbor's pure bred Golden bitch gave birth last night. Both dogs were impregnanted by the same mutt intact roamer. (Aggressive mutt intact roamer - he's going around killing chickens, stealing eggs, and seriously attacking and hurting other dogs. He has tags, but no one can get close enough to grab him as he either aggresses or runs.) Both bitches were let outside without being in a secure area.
Silly me, when Sadie was in heat ever single time she went anywhere but in our house I was withen three feet of her and she was always on a leash.

Yikes, what a terrible situation. Has anyone called the local ranger or animal control? That dog shouldn't be allowed to roam. Someone could get hurt one day. Ack...I hate irresponsible owners.

Oh, BTW I don't want to make this thread a fizzer though. Please,everyone feel free to post pictures of your dogs family tree, if you wish. No judgement from anyone here. Just wanted the "spay/neuter" thing to be said, because it's so very important. Irresponsible breeding isn't cool.


But dog pictures are! So bring 'em on, if you've got 'em.

Didn't really mean to make it a fizzer, just had to vent. LOL Sorry if anyone took offense. I love seeing doggy pictures, too!

I'm not sure if we have an animal control for our area since we live out in the country. We'd have to contact the city animal control and by the time they made it out here I'm pretty sure the dog'd be gone. Apparently he is a huge roamer and is also causing problems in a town about fifteen miles from us.
