Fishing with Topper
Today Topper and I went fishing....
This is his first experience fishing. We didn't catch any fish. I'm pretty sure the 75 lb dog running up and down the bank, splashing and swimming trying to catch dragonflys probably didn't help.

If anyone knows where I can post video, I have some of those too.


OK, so here's our story...

Topper says, "OK, I'm in the water, now what?"


He thinks, "I must be here for a reason. I'm a hunting dog, I'll help look for the fish. Are they up there?"


"Are they down here?"


"Oh... They're out there. Hmm...."


"I think I see one. Is this helping? I'll swim out to them and point 'em, so you can find 'em."



This is Topper's impression of the Loch Ness Monster.



Yesterday Laney and I went fishing. She didn't chase the dragonflys. She got hot and laid in the water, till I caught a fish, then she'd try and grab it as I reeled it in. Then, she pointed the bobber every time it moved. I thought I'd seen it all, but then I took Top. I didn't have the camera on Laney's trip, so maybe I'll take her again tomorrow.
