I agree with you calgal. My guess would be Border Collie/Beagle.
She is absolutely adorable whatever her mix is though!

Hard to tell when they are so small, but it does resemble border collie to me too.

Its been awhile since I last asked the vet what kind of dog she thinks DJ is...she has grown alot! Was 4.2 pounds at 4th of July....now she is 8.4!. The vet said she is most likely a Lab/Pointer mix. I've been googling pictures of pointers and she looks SOOOO much like one. What do you think? Anyone on GP own one?

Whatever she is, she is SOOO cute! I love her expressive little face! I can almost see the pointer.... But then again, to me, her mouth is definitely more Border Collie than Pointer. She doesn't quite have the pointer muzzle. I would still believe she is a BC mix, but then again, I'm not quite an expert on mixes!

all these puppy photos are just killing me!

I am atrocious at guessing breeds myself, but do see similarities to your suggestions so far....

My first thought was Border Collie x Boxer Dog.

I think she is a Border Collie mix... maybe BC and an APBT?

I asked the vet about the possibility of her being a pit bull and she said no....It was a possibility because of the amount of pitbulls in the area. They are also banned in the county where I got her from in Maryland. Schwe, what about her do you see that looks like a pitbull? She seems to have more of a lab look now. I'll have to post more pic....she's a gotten bigger. Her belly is SOOO big compared to those photos. Thanks for your help!
