My neighbour got a Maltese/Shi Tzu/Poodle puppy earlier this year and Sparky and OC have become great friends and play often. There is a bit of a size difference bt that doesn't seem to hinder their fun at all as OC is very gentle with small dogs and Sparky's a tough lil sprite.

Nothing's better than a nice lil white dog for a morning snack!

Oh the love!

Spark says "Get off you big lug!"

I can jump on top of you too y'know!

Zoom, zoom, zoom!!

I'm gonna get you!

Quick break for water

And stopping to smell the flowers

Oh I thought I should mention, the white fur all over the lawn is NOT a result of their rough playing!! I had been grooming OC just before Sparky came over a nd a few tufts escaped the bag I wasputting the fur into LOL

Those are great! I love looking at them playing. Brave little Spark. I especially love the 2nd, 8th & 13th picture. How adorable!! I was kind of wondering who's hair was getting pulled out.

Is that Sparks mommy looking over the fence? How long did it take Sparky to warm up to OC and be comfortable enough to play with him?

Aw, those are great pictures. I love to see big dog and little dogs play together. I have to say, the picture with OC laying on top on Sparky, where you see Sparky's little feet stick under OC made me laugh. "lol"

Lee, thanks!!! It amazes me how he takes a dog's size and age into consideration before playing (although with the age factor he does often forget himself)

CalGal, yup that's my neighbour. She doesn't like bwing in the yard because sometimes while playing the dogs forget themselves and run into people and she isn't as young as she used to be...It took Sparky about 3seconds to decide OC was a good play mate LOL Actually everytime Sparky gets loose (door dasher) he always comes over to our place and tries to figure out how he can squirm into the yard to play

Giny, haha ya that one made me laugh too! At one point OC had Spark's whole head in his mouth but alas I missed the shot

Lesya, how could you tell? LOL My mum's co-worker is a groomer and she's coming over tomorrow to strip OC's coat - at least I'm hoping she knows how to strip a coat...although there's not much left to come out anymore. Just his neck, withers and a bit on his lower belly

The look like the best of friends, they look so happy together playnig, nothing more enjoyable than seeing dogs have fun

Hahaha!!! OC has no possessiveness in him at all and will share anything. Even a raw bone!!! I'm scared it's going to get him in trouble some day though because he thinks since HE shares everything other dogs should too and will stick his nose into w/e another dog has LOL

BTW I love your avatar! I used to have that as wallpaper for my computer while I was waiting to be able to bring OC home
