What is he??

I'm trying to figure out what this dog is and maybe you guys can help me. A friend of mine gave me this dog a few months ago. His name is Bear and she had told me he was a pomeranian that belonged to a friend of hers. Being that she is a minature dog breeder i believed her. I love this dog to death and he's about 9 years old. But lately I've been questioning to what he is. When I look at pictures of pomeranians, he doesnt look like one. Im beginning to think that he may be a long haired Chihuahua. If I get this posting right maybe you guys can look at him and tell me what you think. He's the furry one obviously. I apologize if these pics are real small. I'd really appreciate it. thanks!!

well I own long hair chi's and my girlfriend owns a heap of pomeranians. looks like a pom to me too lol although they are similar types and bear does have a rounder nose than most poms I have seen. I still opt for pomeranian

I was born into a family with several long haired chihuahuas.. that dog there looks like a Pom to me as well.

I have a Chi. and my friend has a Pom. Yours definately looks like a Pom. What was it that made you think differently? Just curious.

Maybe he is a pom. When i was looking at pics of poms and longed haired chi's, his nose looked longer than a poms and his hair doesnt seem to grow! I guess whoever owned him before me must have cut his hair but it just never seems to get any longer. The poms ive seen are HUGE hairballs. I guess she was right after all lol
