Lucy growing up

I have been keeping a picture time line of Lucy growing up. I can't believe how much she has grown! I brought her home from the pound when she was about 2 months old and she just turned 10 months old last week. Sometimes it feels like the last 8 months has gone by in the blink of an eye and sometimes it feels like it took for ever! LOL! I love to watch Lucy and Bailey play together. Bailey loves her little sister more than anything in the world...even more than fetching tennis balls. I love both of them more than anything in the world...period!

Yeah, I know how to pick the crazy, OCD-ball dogs. I remember the day she came home with us. I took her in the backyard to get properly aquainted with Bailey. (They had met at the pound a few times) Bailey ran up to me with a ball and Lucy walked over and pulled the ball right out of her mouth. Bailey just stood there with a stunned look on her face and then sat on my foot and whined. Sorry Bailey, there is much worse to come!! LOL

A-w-w-w...those are the greatest pictures! I love the one especially with her head down in the grass. They're all beautiful. She's so pretty. Yes, it seems like you just got her. I remember you talking about getting a second one. And now she's already 10 months. Wow! Too precious.

Thanks! Lucy sure has come a long way in the last 8 months. She has gone through a lot in her short little life and I am so happy with the way she is turning out. I am babysitting one of her littermates, Harley, who was rescued along with Lucy. This little pup has some of the same issues that Lucy had. Her back legs are twisted so she sways back and forth when she walks. It makes me so sad and so angry to think about the people that bred these pups and to see how much pain Lucy and Harley have had to go through. Here is a picture of Harley.

Wow, she sure grew up fast! dont they just grow up way too fast :'( Just seems like yesterday that I could hold kobe in my arms.... now, he weights more than my 5 and 6 year old nieces.

Lol, goodness, I am glad I got to spend all of my time with him during his puppy stage.

Lucy is one of my favorites on Global Paw!!! She is so beautiful and what a shiny coat. What was she doing in the picture with her mouth open, I think it was the 6 month pic??!!
