Tribute To My Lost Bonnie

I lost my dear Labrador, Bonnie not too many months ago to old age. I still miss her and remember her as a very mellow dog, even as a puppy. She lived for the kids and all their friends. She was one dog that didn't need supervising with kids. She did the supervising. She was wonderful, sweet and trustworthy, no matter what, a real lady. Here are a few pictures of her as a pup and a more recent picture as a mature maiden. LOL.

Walks down memory lane can be so nice. Bonnie must have been quite the girl, she was beautiful. We are so privlidged to have these wonderful animals in our lives, even though there time here is short they leave an everlasting imprint on our hearts.

Thanks guys. Yes, we are indeed priveleged to have these unique animals with us. There's just nothing like them. I do miss her, but am not too sad anymore... I guess because I do keep good memories and appreciation right up there in my mind.

Awwww Carrie Bonnie was such a great dog!!! Anyone who knew her sure was a very privlidged person and their lives certainly were enriched by her presence. Her body may lay still but memories live on forever and through them so shall her spirit. HUGS!!!

Great pictures. I love the one of two sleeping kids. That is so sweet. The last one of your daughter and Bonnie in the snow is beautiful. They look like very happy memories.

Aw! Those were great pictures, Carrie. Bonnie sounds like such a wonderful companion... it's sad that it was her time to go, but she's always watching over you!

Thanks everbody. Yes, I miss her but am OK. She did have a good life and a fairly good life span. So, I am satisfied that she was fulfilled and I can't measure how much she filled our lives and hearts....a great dog. I do love looking back at old pictures and sharing.
