Tri-State Bulldog Rescue's First Fund Raiser Pics

As many of you know already, we started our own Bulldog Rescue recently and we've been so amazed at the outpouring of love and help from some of the very special members here on Global Paw!

I just wanted to thank everyone again for their kindness, donations, offers of assistance and encouragement. We couldn't do it without you!

We would also like to give a HUGE thanks to Poodlesmom and the company she works for, they were kind enough to help supply us with shirts and ballcaps at a price we could afford so that we could resell them at our first specialty show outing! And if that weren't enough, she took it even further and not only took care of our shipping costs but also sent a wonderful gift!

We were so worried that we wouldn't have a sign large enough or that would look nice enough to display to draw everyone's attention to our table but Poodlesmom took care of it for us with her gift.....TWO wonderful banners!!!

I can't even begin to tell you how wonderful this has all been and what it means for our rescues, without all of you, our first attempt at fund raising would have been a disaster and without the kindness of several GP members our rescues wouldn't have their own blankets, bowls, leashes and more! We were able to raise over $400.00 at the fund raiser!

Along with that we also had a late 90's van donated to us by one of our newest rescue parents ( they adopted Diesel & Daisy! ) which should help us as well.

That is GREAT news!! This is truly a great thing you are doing!

Sonja I am so glad you had a great response at the event & were able to raise so much $$$ for such a worthwhile cause! It is fantastic that a van was donated for the bullies! What a wonderful gift that I am sure will be put to alot of good use (I'm sure Daisy & Diesel put in a good word for you!

)

I'm sure in the Tri-State Bully world the word is being spread & hopefully it will generate ongoing contributions. In a perfect world rescues wouldn't be necessary but since unfortunately I don't see that ever happening, the bullies are lucky to have you & the rescue group in their corner.
