Arrow German Shepherd in need, Providence, Rhode Island

34 Elbow Street Providence, Rhode Island 02903
phone 401-421-1399 * fax 401-861-8086

To adopt this dog, contact us at 401-421-1399 or email adopt@parl.org.

Name: Westy
ID: 2373
Breed: German Shepherd
Sex: Male
Age: 9 years
Weight: 85 lbs.
Housebroken: No
Good w/ Dogs: Unknown
Good w/ Cats: Unknown
Good w/ Kids: No

Huge-Hearted Shepherd! Westy has had a hard life and needs an experienced dog owner who can provide him with the happy home he deserves. Westy received practically no attention or affection in his former home. Now that he's being showered with love at PARL, he can't get enough!

Westy is a very warm, sweet dog who love to be pet and cuddle. Westy will actually drape his big head over your shoulder so you can hug him. He's pretty mellow and low energy. He'll need exercise, but beyond that he's happy to nap and snuggle.

Westy is still getting used to being on a leash, but he's getting the hang of it. He doesn't jump up and he's very gentle.

but not good with kids? that is the one thing I have lots of: kids! no end to love and affection. we have a cat too and another dog. GS mix.
there are just so many animals out there! my goodness. if i could adopt them all, i would! in a heartbeat!!! i adore GS. they're just so gorgeous. i just can't imagine the person who had them and not given them love. boggles the mind.
