Sandy is gone
Sandy is on his way to his forever home as I type this note. He met his new mama and daddy and his new grandpa here about 2:30. He barked and growled for the first five minutes, then all of a sudden he decided he liked them and would go for a pet to each of them. We visited for about an hour and a half and I didn't have any missgivings about allowing them to take Sandy. It is a very good match for Sandy and for all concerned. He will be loved, cuddled, spoiled and pampered for the rest of his life.

I'm waiting to hear about my next foster. All I know right now is that it is a neutered male that is about 30 pounds, 1 1/2 years old and a little pushy. He and his brother were turned in to rescue because their owners were moving and they couldn't take the dogs with them. I hope this one goes as well as Sandy did.

Sandy is a shetland sheepdog and I just got an update on him from his new mama and daddy. Somewhere between Sarnia and their home he was christened Rudy by his new mama because he reminded her of a Rudy Katooti.......... He's happy and doing well in his new home.
