Winston..... the travel to a forever home!
Okay guys and gals here I go!! Going for the trifecta of weims in our weimie house hold! Novel introduced me to Winston about a week ago and I fell in love! I've only seen him in picutres and that's enough for me! You can see him here: http://www.greatlakesweimrescue.com/...rs.htm#winston

Winston is a 4yr old long coated weim (I've got a soft spot for 'em). After talking it over with the DH he said I could have him. I've contacted the resuce and submitted my application for him. The process takes about 2-3 weeks so cross your fingers! Mrsgrubby has also offered transportation services too (if I get him) which I can't even express in words how amazing that is! I'd love to see you and Violet again!

I'll keep you all posted and hopefully he'll have a forever home here in WI!!! This is going to be a grulling 2-3 weeks!

Heres hoping that all goes well and you get to add another kid to your crew!!!! I hope they at least contact you in the next few days!!!!

I know you love the long coats, so I hope you get him....Do you think Tweeder will be ok with another male in the family?

I'll keep praying that he will be in the car with me when I leave MI in a few weeks!!!

He does well with other males, however he is cautious because the male german shepard next door attacked him once. My neighbor isn't the smartest of guys when it comes to dogs...... He was out with our friends dog Oscar during the softball season and he did really well with him. As long as he still knows that he'll always be mama's little boy I think he'll be fine.

I am so very excited....
See what I did? I say, "hey.. look at this", and in a few weeks I'll be seeing pics of him in your home... How cool is that?

Things always happen for a reason! I must admit, I've never seen a LH in rescue before, and I look through rescue quite often.

I couldn't wrap my mind around the idea of a LH Weim at first, but gosh is he gorgeous!! I looove his coat! All fingers and paws crossed here that you get him! Yay!

LH's are very pretty. They remind me of English Setters. They don't have a double coat, and so the shedding is still a minimum. Since it is a recessive gene, many breeders have one or two, but they are disqualified here, but in Australia they are not, so many Am. breeders, export them to Aussie land when they pop up in the odd litter. And I love to see the pics of them on breeder's sites there. Just gorgeous!

So I got an email from one of the ladies at the weim rescue and she would like to do a phone interview tonight!! I'll keep you all posted as to how it goes!

Oh my gosh, How exciting!!!!!! Be sure to tell her you were at the rescue breakfast in Frankenmuth and ask her if she was there!!!! That should give you bonus points!!!!!!
