Beagle Puppy Needs A Home - Raleigh NC

Just got this e-mail from my boss:

Good Morning,
This past week on our way back from Nagshead, Gary and I found a beagle puppy at a gas station. He had a collar on with a phone cord tied to it and had been cut loose, got loose or was dropped off, who knows. He would have surely been hit by a car if we had not picked him up and brought him home. He is right at 5 months old, in perfect health except for a few worms which is normal for a puppy. He is a love sponge and just wants so badly to be loved and rubbed and played with. His coat is shiny, also a sign of good health.
We took him to our Vet and started him on his shots and are getting him caught up on a few missed meals. He has a black and tan face and black and white body with a few tan outlines. Really a pretty little boy. We need to find him a good home. I have already contacted the Triangle Beagle Rescue folks and they are full and can't take in anymore dogs. We can not keep him because we already have 7 birds and 2 dogs and our plates are full as far as the demands on our time and energy are concerned. Please help us find a good home for Barney. He is not housebroken yet but our efforts are working and he is starting to learn the concept in just the few days we have had him. He is a sweet puppy who needs a loving home and a fenced in yard , or someone who will walk him on the leash frequently.
Please check with neighbors and friends and co-workers if you think they would be willing to give him a good home.

I saw your note regarding a beagle puppy. My husband and I started looking for beagle puppies this weekend and have been in contact with the tribeagle rescue group. We would be interested in learning more about your puppy, if there is more that you know, and in seeing your puppy.

That post is from january, the puppy has found a home now.:-)

But please check ou these guys and visit the pound, there were SO many beagles there last time we went.
