Exclamation Uploading Pic's Problem

Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me. I've been trying to upload pictures but it takes a long time and then I get the webpage that says:

"The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings."

If I keep trying over and over again it's hit or miss if I get a pic uploaded. I've tried to up load 3 pics in the last 1/2 hour or so and only one uploaded successfully by doing it one at a time.

Any suggestions????

I'll look into it. I was just working around in the gallery, and that may have been the problem.

If anyone else is having problems let me know.

I was able to upload pictures no problem. It may have been just a glitch while I was working in the gallery.

Let me know if you continue to have problems

I'm the last one who should be explaining the "how-to", but this is how I do it. First I signed up at photobucket.com then upload what pictures I want to post. When you see the picture come up, look at the very bottom of the picture where is says [IMG] put your arrow on it and right click. It will turn blue then hold down Ctrl on your keyboard along with the letter c. (push the Ctrl down a little before the c, not the same time) Then go back to the Global Paw thread and when your ready to send a message, hold down the Ctrl and the v. Don't hold down or it will post the same picture several time. Just do it quick. You will see the IMG come up on your reply. If your posting more than one picture, make sure you use a new line each time on your reply.

Calgal thanks for the ideas but I don't use photobucket... I'll have to try it.

However I'm wondering if it's having a problem with the size of the photo. If I size the pic down just a little it seems to help. However I've uploaded pics of the same size in the past with no problem.

What do you think DoozyDog??

Seems to have been the case... I've been resizing pics just a little bit and they've been uploading okay.

I uploaded a very large picture with no problem. It might have to do with the original picture. What format jpg gif are you tring to upload.

They are all in jpg format. All the pics so far that I've loaded today I've had to resize them down a bit before I could upload.

It was the same way for the photobucket website too.

Try draging an original image into your browser. If it doesn't show the original it might not be a jpg, but just has jpg extension. I am thinking these are "raw" images and resizing them is turning them into jpgs.

never had a problem with them before.....

My camera always saves them as jpgs.....

Oh well if they won't upload I'll keep resizing them.
