puppy to a good home ?

Is there a place to put an ad for a puppy ?

A co-worker is wanting to give away a new puppy. She has 1 too many, and needs to get rid of this recent stray. I would like to help her find a good home and thought of this forum. I would like to post a picture and short description but am not sure where.

Please direct me ... Thanks!!

We do not allow the sale or "giving away" of dogs on global paw. So unfortunatly we do not have an area for that.

The problem with allowing animals to be sold or given away via this website is that it attracts puppymills and backyard breeders. Something the majority of members and staff here are against.

If the dog is a genuine rescue, it's details can be posted in the rescue section however.

I'm not affliated with a rescue in any way. I'm just trying to help a friend. It is one puppy amongst several that were left on the side of the road and some people with hearts picked them up. The son of my co-worker brought one of the puppies home and my co-worker just can't tend to another animal she already has 4 or 5 dogs and a couple of cats.

If this is ok to put in rescue then that's where I'll post it. Thank you Cass!
