Puppy points working?

I've given out puppy points and it doesn't appear to be adding to the person I give them to recently? Is something up with it?

They appear to be working. I've just given points to someone and it bumped them up.

Ok, thanks CB! I just tried again with someone else and it worked this time. Can't help thinking this other person got jipped though, I'm pretty sure the points didn't go up last time.

People will only get a new green 'pip' if the amount of points gets up to a certain number.... for example if the next pip was given after 100pp and they had 40pp then you gave them some (your power is 63, so that's how many points you give) they would then have 103 points and get another pip. But if they had 10 points and you gave them your 63 they would only have 73 points and no pip would show up.
It doesn't mean the points haven't gone through.

I understand about the "pips" Cass, but the rep power points go up one regardless don't they? Wouldn't that number have changed even if there wasn't a new "pip"?

Yes, the number will change even if the "rep tarts" do not, sometimes it does require a refresh to see the number change but, it can also have no effect if the person your giving points to has gotten them from you recently already. If you'd like to PM the member's name that you gave points to I'd be happy to check on it further for you.
