Just wondering...

I was wondering if you think you are going to need a new moderator anytime soon? I have been apart of this forum for a very long time..I was just wondering..Thanks, Erin

Hi southern_girl, we pick new staff when we feel it is needed by forum growth. Moderators become Dog Forum Guides first, then elevate to Moderator status when we feel it is needed.

We will be adding a couple new staff in a month or so...the method in which we pick new staff is a process where the current staff evaluates the maturity, people skills, history, and commitment of current members, as well as technical knowledge needed for the moderator position.

If any member is selected to be a good choice for staff, we contact the person via PM with the offer.

At globalpaw, we don't make a big deal in public with new staff...and the number of posts a member has has little to do with getting an invitation. The best thing to do is show proper networking skills in the forum, as well as making an impression with current staff.
