I'm not a mod, but from what I understand is that you can post the link in a thread if it is answering a question or is helping out on a subject...what you can't do is advertise it.

However, I'd double check that with the mods before you do anything as I'm NOT a mod and don't know the above for sure.

Ritz is correct, as long as the link deals with a subject posted and is not an advertisement of some sort then it's usually fine.

What you do need to make sure of however is that the article itself is not copywritten and is reposted with the permission of the author if it is or the "terms of use" are apparent and within means.
