Rep question
Okay just one question. I did a search on the answer but couldn't find it.
On my latest Rep Received thing on User CP, I have a greyish rectangle, not a green one.... My points haven't gone down and it wasn't for any kind of comment - it was just saying hi to a newbie. So what does it mean? Just interested..... ![]() |

actually, fireworksinjuly in semi-right.
You only get positive rep points if the personm giving them to you has power...you get power the more you're a member, the more posts you have, etc. A newbie will not have any power, as they have not been around long enough to get any power. Therefore, a newbie giving you rep will not count for or against you, thus making it neutral. |
