Can anyone help me? I posted a question earlier and 58 of you viewed it but only 2 responses. My Akita mix adopted 2 year old (neutered) from the spca is doing ok indoors (he stills barks at the cats and lunges but we don't let them mingle yet) but maaaaan.... sometimes outdoors he has issues with anything on a leash he scans across his vision... but yet does great indoors at doggy classes. The trainer at doggy school i'm sure think i'm nuts as he has no aggression or issues for the 1 hour we are in class and insists we have to divert his attention if things arise outside and anticipate situations (how does one know when a neighbour emerges next door while sitting outside.... or a dog and his owner comes out of a yard while we are going past?
Please... help me !!!! Calgary owner who saved this pup and is in need of HELP (he has been in my house a month and I know it takes time but every day.... a new thing... he is great while alone with me and my b/f but come on be realistic.... dogs need outside air and I should at least be able to sit in the front of the house or drive without him going nuts!! |
