Number of pictures in my gallery

The little camera that appears in our posts next to it has a number showing how many photos we have in the picture gallery....I have 9 pictures in the gallery now and for some reason the number has ticked up to 10 and now 11. I rechecked my gallery and nope, still only 9 pictures in there. LOL
Anyone know what's going on?

Yup, the number you have there does not go down when you delete a photo...so it may be inaccurate.

I usually try to sync them every couple of months.

I've never deleted a photo. Only added.
But thanks for the answer.

It doesn't bother me or anything, I was just curious.
