how to tell if your dog needs to go to the bathroom...
1.The dog goes around in cyrcles 2. You put your dog in its kennel and it has enough room to JUST turn in a cycle. 2. If your dog has a blanky and there is other room in the kennel the dog will go to a corner and go to the bathroom and will lie on the corner were it is dry. Thank You for opening, Madeleine |

One thing to watch for is a puppy that quits playing and starts sniffing the floor.

My dog taps all the doorknobs in the house when he needs to go out. He learned this a while ago when I hung a bell that he would ring. After some time he learned that the bell meant he would go outside rather than go to the bathroom so I took it away and he started using the doorknobs. They make a slight sound when he taps them. If he taps them several times then I know he actually DOES need to go out and he's not doing it just to get out and play.
