Thanks Luckydog! You inspired me. I really was not in the mood for a walk. It's not very nice weather and I'm tired. But I'm going to do it now too. Golf course...here we come. I hope my dogs stay on the side road and don't go after someone's ball like they did one time. A-r-g-g-g...embarrasing. Mostly they're obedient, but Jose is the ring leader....the bad seed. So, hopefully...oh, I know...I'll bring some treats. That'll keep him in line. LOL. But I gotta do it because I'm leaving them all alone tonight while I go whoop it up and sing karaoke and drink beer. I feel guilty that they can't come and sing and drink beer too, but such is the life of a dog. At least they have eachother and they can watch a movie together and have popcorn.

Carrie, what's the weather been like? Rainy?

I love this weather, since I hate the sun. (LOL. I do, I really despise the sun shining on me) But it's too cold and wet to go out and do stuff...

Well, we got a sun break and it was nice. It has been like Seattle for the last several days...misty, rainy, cloudy.....enough already!

Had a good walk. Lyric though was limping and I looked at his paw underneath and his pad is cracked. So, I need to wash it and put some stuff on it which I'm sure he'll promptly lick off. Poor baby.

Aww poor baby.. Buster has a cracked pad too, but I think his are just too overgrown and brittle.. He doesn't walk enough to wear them down, same with his toenails.

Well, poor Buster. I never had that problem with any other dog. It's my fault. I knew they were getting very dry and scratchy and did put bag balm on them a few times, but put it off lately because it isn't good for the carpet or couches which Spoiled Rotten is allowed to get on. So, I put it off, thinking I should really put some stuff on there. So, now it's come to have a crack. I'm a bad mom....poor Lyrieee. He and the other dogs are out in the yard and when he comes in in a little bit, I'll clean it up.

Buster's just needs to be worn down... I might give him a pedicure in the next couple of days and use the pumice stone to slough off all that excess scratcy pad and start fresh with a new smooth pad.. Ugh, that won't be fun. He was never raised with people touching or picking at his feet, and has protested to it every time we try to do something..
