Friends

I have a friend who wasn't that close to me before, but she suddenly became good friends with me when i got my puppy. She knows this is my first dog, and she's had a total of nine dogs throughout her life. Somehow, she decided that she was going to teach me how i should raise my puppy.

Sometimes, she comes along with Simba and I when we go for walks, and i'm use to people asking to pet Simba. The problem when she's with me is that she starts answering their questions about him. She also tells strangers he bites when he's never biten a stranger before. (he likes to behave for strangers, he knows he'll get more attention that way )

I want to tell her to back off without sounding mean. Anyone know how to deal with people who like to get a little too involved?

Sounds like your going to have to tell her you can speak for yourself and your dog. After all it is your dog and who knows more about your dog than you..
