I did the same, Shalva. I actually think a GS would be a really interesting, fun breed to live with. I love their work ethic. Only standards and giants, though.. My mini girl was sweet, at times, but just not my kind of dog. Acted far more like a lazy little toy dog than a working terrier.
The beard would definitely take some getting used to. Samantha was just a pet, I kept her clipped and several times had the groomer give her a clean face. (She was eating this awful, really low-fat wet food because of her pancreatitis and I couldn't stand wiping the stuff off her beard.) In general I prefer dogs with a clean face but I wouldn't let a beard get in the way if I loved the temperament of the breed. |

terrier - cairn
pastoral - border collie working - boxer sporting - nova scotia duck tolling retriever or gordon setter hound - borzoi non-sporting, not really sure i like a lot of breeds in this group toy - none i dont like any toy breeds. |
