Awww...Haven is gorgeous! She kinda looks like Wesley...the face and the expressions, really cute! I am not sure or anything, but maybe she has some lab in her....But whatever mix she is, she is gorgeous! Congrats again on her

She's adorable! She has very cute markings- love the white socks. She looks like she needs to sleep off the shelter environment before she really lets her personality shine through. After she destresses, I'm sure you will find she has a lot of puppy antics to catch up on! That's great that you will be keeping tabs on her whenever she is outside. Not only will she be safer, but with her personality, I'll bet every little bit of contact with you will help her become more trusting.

I'm so glad you took her home- at our shelter, larger black dogs like her have a really tough time finding a home. They have a nickname here-BBD (Big Black Dog) which is usually said with sympathy since their chances are much lower at being adopted.

P.S. Love the name

I think she is soooo cute, so sweet looking.

No, I am not going to flame you for not getting a fence. I am sure you learned when you lost sweet Chance that a dog can not be outside unattended.

I know you won't make the same mistake with Haven. Just go outside with her each time she goes out, and until she learns to come when you call her, just keep her on a leash. I have a 6 footer for walks, and a 20 footer for just playing outside.

She will be fine as long as you walk her each day once or twice on a nice long walk to tire her out.

I definitely see Labrador in her, but looking more closely I don't see much Border Collie. I think it's just the black and white markings that threw me off. I see Beagle in her muzzle, too, but that could just be because of her age.

She's cute.. And that's responsible of you to keep her inside, I hope all goes well.

WHO KNOWS!
She acts and runs and wags her lil stuby tail like a Boxer though- and she has the face of a Lab/PitBull to me. I dont know though-I'm no expert.

I don't see any Pit or Rottie in her

She looks a lot like a lab/beagle mix to me. I almost got a beagle mix that was about her size and had the same exact coloring.
Whatever she is she is simply adorable!

I see Lab and Beagle in her too. I see no Pit, Rottie, and hardly, if any, Border Collie. Good luck with her!

Actually i was thinking beagle too.In one of the photos she looks kind of short. I see lab. I dont know about BC but possibly. i dont see any Pit Rottie or boxer. She adorable. Do you know how old she is? She is adorable though. Why does she have a docked tail?

She had a docked tail when I got her.. To me she moves like a boxer.. Her face looks somewhat pitt/lab.. i dont see any beagle.. lol.. She is almost 7 months old.
