Yes, thats right I got a new dog

Her name is Haven, she is a border collie/pit/lab mix, I THINK.
She has had a hard day-she was spayed

and hadher shots. Now she is home. I adopted her from the local pound. And I already love her to peices. I also got a crate for her. I have to go buy her a new collar and leash sometime this week-all I have is the one the vet gave me..

I dunno but I dont really see BC in her....APBT's come in black and white too....Im probably wrong, im not really the best person to ask as far as figuring out what breed's a mix is. She is so sweet. Look at that expression, priceless. Do you know an appoximate age? She looks young to me.

Oh I am so glad you found a new baby. I know you will always have a special place in your heart for your other dogs.

Did you get someone to fence in your yard like you wanted so you can keep her safe?

Oh...I see the BC in her. She looks so nice. Yes, do be careful. If she has BC in her, she'll be chomping at the bit to chase the neighbor's animals. I'm so glad you have a new dog to love. How old is she about?

She's a doll.
Do be careful with her as she ages. I really see a lot of working-line Border Collie in her (some working BC people might say she's a purebred smooth-coated BC, but I don't think so.) and because of that she may be a challenge to keep away from other people's animals. I hope you took the necessary precautions (getting a fenced area for her) before you went out and got her.

BC is what I instantly thought of as soon as I saw her. Looks like she just wants to rest and recoupe from her past ordeal poor girl. She will be her real true self in a few days when she feels rested, safe and loved. She's a very pretty little girl. So glad she found the perfect home.

Although she is not my dear Chance, she is a great dog. I love her to peices and she will never replace my Chance, but she is my priority now. She is 5 and 1/2 months old. She weighs 39 ponds. I really dont know what kind of dog she is, maybe when I put these pictures up some of you can tell me..

No you guys, we didnt put a fence up and I really hope you dont start flaming me and telling me I shouldnt have got her if I didnt have all that stuff. BUT she is a HOUSE DOG- when outside she will be UNDER SUPERVISION, ON A LEASH, OR ON A TIE. She has a docked tail and she also has a hotspot on her butt. She just got spayed yesterday, as I said in my last post, I think.

She is not aggresive to anything so far. She met Ashley (my friends dogs, Cheyenne (Aussie) and Tillie (Terrier/Hound mix) She met all 3 of my other dogs and my cat. She is very people friendly, although just a bit shy. Here are some pictures of her I took today.

See anything different now?
