I heard a little church mouse
As I was typing here, expounding, as usual, I heard a little, tiny whine out in the kitchen. I usually seperate the dogs when they eat and Jose was seperated, eating in the bathroom. But I didn't seperate Chuli and Lyric other than putting Chuli's food on the windowsill behind the couch in the living room and Lyric's on the floor in the adjacent kitchen. That usually works...neither is a food hog, don't fight about it and so I didn't bother this morning. Anyhow, I wondered what Lyric was whining about....so quietly, just a couple of whines. I went in the kitchen and there was Chuli Chihuahua eating out of his bowl while the big, black Doberboy stood back, looking on. He looked very pathetic and sad. So, I put her in her crate to eat so Lyric could dare eat his food.

Awww...Lyric sounds so sweet and gentle! I was just at Petco with Wesley and we met a dobe there that was scared of any other dogs and was hiding behind his human-mommy but then she told him to shake hands with my mom and he did! It was so adorable! Then he went over to Wesley and he gave him tons of kisses all over his face! It was just about the cutest thing ever! But anyways, I thought that was pretty cute

Always knew he was just a big softy...as long as he's not on duty! This is how a well mannered dog should be. Gentle with his "mates", and protective when need be, of both territory and family. You've done a wonderful job with him!

that reminds me to our parot ( well the green and yellow bird living in australia) Nicky wasmean he stole bones from the big mean dogs, from our old Dachsund as well as of my old dog.
Hm well stealing is probably not the right word but, he took it and occupied it...
Defended it by threatening with his wide open beak. and the dogs were helples, that beak hurts....
he ven rode on the dogs backs
