Cool Muddy Paws Prints

Okay it snowed the other day and now it is melting. Well when snow melts in the dirt it makes mud! which in turn makes my floor have these lovely little brown paw prints here and there and everywhere. I need to teach my kids to wipe thier feet before entering the house.....lol.

I got so tired of the mess that I did teach mine to sit as soon as they come in and wait while I wipe their paws. My pup still complains but the older dog knows he doesn't get past the mat without having his feet wiped first. (same rules for the hubby and kids! lol)

Yeah! I have to do the same thing too. Cocker feet are like big sponges, so I really don't have a choice I have to dry them off. Shadow is usually pretty good about it!

I need to train my company moreover than Gizmo! I have a runner in my hallway, and everyone walks OVER the runner to take their boots with mud/sand/snow/salt off on my tile floor!

Pretty funny... my dog is better trained than the humans!

I always had that problem too Jamila, had to teach mine when they come in that if I say "wait" it means stop where you are so mom can wipe your feet first. lol

Yeah I almost had it where they would wait and Fallon will, but Talena she hates the site of towels. I dont know why. She runs everytime she sees one she doesnt like getting dryed off. She like to come barrelin' through the house when shes wet cause she knows I want to wipe her down and she's having none of that. Now that my kids are better (health wise) for the most part train begins again.
I have however to my amazment got Fallon to actually sit for me....she's my oldest (4yrs) I was late with teaching her simple comands. Actually I just trianed my kids to not jump on people and that was about it. Ever since I came here I have been super motivated to train my kids for thier benifit and mine.

Whew! sorry bout that I will stop now.
