Smile How does your dog react to snow?

Well, seeing as how we got about 7 inches here, I just love seeing how my dogs react to it.
Rose is the poor pitiful baby who doesn't like it "because it's cold". She'll only walk through it if she has too, and she prefers her doghouse to anything right now. She also thinks I'm nuts because I have a dog coat for her to wear since she has short hair.
I can just picture Rose as a little girl giving her mom the look that says, "You are making me go play in all of THAT? But it is cold and wet and icky! And you're making me wear what?!?" lol
Blackie, on the other hand, LOVES snow. He acts like a little puppy and runs around taking mouthfuls of it and then running around some more. And if I take him for a walk, we have to stop a blue dozen times because he wants to make doggy angels.
Blackie is the little boy running outside with one mitten off, one mittne on, snow suit barely on yelling, "Isn't this fun!!! Look at me!!!" and the mom is standing at the doorway yelling at him to get back inside because he isn't ready yet and he'll catch his death. lol

So how are your dogs liking the snow? (If you have some, of course.)

Misha, my sister's ESS, is loving the snow! Right now we have like a foot or more of snow in our back yard. Lol, you should see her bunny hopping through it! It is great!

The rest of our dogs, on the other hand, aren't enjoying it one bit. I have to practically force the seven cockers out teh door, and the entire time they are outside(for potty breaks) they have this disgusted looks on their faces.

luce loves the snow. it makes her go zoom. and she likes to eat it and chase/catch/bite snowballs.

mushroom hates it. he was *so* upset when i opened the door yesterday morning and there was 8" of wet cold stuff and he had to *walk* in it. he does, however, think he has to mark every verticle snow bank surface.

Suprisingly, the little monster loves it. I can't get her attention off the snow long enough to get her to go potty! She just puts her nose in and starts bouncing around. Trying to eat it all as she hops around like some kind of nut.

Chloe LOVES it! She sticks her whole face in it and sniffs and snorts. She also likes to bite at snowballs, and runs giant circles.
Sheltimama, so sorry you don't get snow it's a blast!

Elite and Spatz love it...running, sliding, rolling, etc. Max, however, hates it. Being a JRT, he gets cold quick, so would rather be inside!!

Tai and Kimi adore snow - it's cause for them to zoom and chase in the yard, and to play "survivor." In fact, Tai's reaction to snow as a baby earned him his registered name - San Jo Yuki Mai Tai, which translates roughly to "San Jo Snow Dancing Red Snapper." The first time he got to play in it, he used his nose as a shovel and tossed it into the air, then leaped to catch it.

They love it. They run around like nutballs. Colby does get cold pretty easily, so after a while she goes up to the door and stands there wanting to go inside. I guess she'll have to start wearing a coat when we go outside to play.

Oh gosh, keira loves the snow! She'll ask to go out 10 times an hour and then when she gets out there she runs around burying her face in it and rolling around!! i tried totake pictures of it but it came out too blurry. But i did get some of her just sitting in it. Sje never wants to come back in!! It takes forever to get her back in the house!! its been snowing here for two days straight. We're up to almost a foot now!

Radar used to love the snow. But, now the snow seems to "freeze him in his tracks"! He will just stand there and shiver, and refuse to walk anywhere. So, when it snows outside, we have to put out pee pads for him since he refuses to go outside!
