case of the missing treats

Okay, earlier I went to the back room to get some treats out of the freezer so I can thaw them out and use them later during our training sessions... There were two packages left on Sunday when I checked, and now they're all gone! Argh! I asked where they were and apparently my uncle ate them...Yes, he ate my dog's training treats! I hope he enjoyed them.... Oh well... They were free, so I guess I can laugh... right? Hopefully I'll be able to get more... Maybe if I dig a little deeper in the freezer, I can find something.... *digs*

Nah, he's very agressive when I click it.. I think he has obsessive compulsive disorder.. Will have to resort to either more NILIF or a shock collar... Hmm....

I'd go for an e-collar or a prong collar. Only to get his attention though. Combine that with nilif and he'll be well trained in no time.
Hmmm....Perhaps you could install an invisible fence around the kitchen too?

Cass.

Yay! I dug around the freezer for about 20 minutes... and I mean I DUG through it... Sheesh... a lot of stuff in there... Anyway, I found 1/2 package left and I hid them very well.. Mazie is very happy to say the least!

My uncle does bite, but doesn't have any teeth... Should I still muzzle him?

What kind of treats are these? Please say it was just some leftovers in a baggie or something. I can't imagine a person eating Beggin Strips or dried liver treats. *Gag*

It was two packages of hot dogs that were past their due date for human consumption... If it was liver, it would've been gone much faster... he loves that stuff.. *gags*... Beggin strips don't taste all that bad, really... I think I may have found something that Mazie loves more than hot dogs.. Amazingly, in about 30 minutes, I taught her how to heel inside the house using nothing but mac & cheese and a clicker. I gave her one noodle for staying beside me, two for following me when I made turns, three for getting back into position if she screwed up, and 5 for sitting when we stopped.. Tomorrow, I'm going to Seattle for a week to visit my sister (and I'm taking Mazie with me.. Yay!!) So I should hopefully be able to get her going good on heeling indoors and outdoors. Wish her training session would've lasted a bit longer earlier though.. I would've kept on going, but she accidentally bit me while taking a noodle from my fingers.. She's usually very dainty about it, but I guess she just really loves those noodles.. LOL. She's now pouting on my bed because I yelled, "Yeowch!", walked away, put the glob of noodles back into the pot, and brought her upstairs to bed. Was this too harsh? :P
