Stupendously Well Trained Dobermans
I was watching Magnum PI (love that show) the other night and it was about this playboy dude that was possibly going to be taking over the estate. He had some beautiful naked women inside the big house being photgraphed. Higgins, the impeccibly bred English caretaker(still not sure if he's really Robin Masters) walked in and was appalled.
The two Dobermans (the lads) were sitting up straight right in front of these girls watching. Higgins said, "Lads!" And they both turned their heads simutaneously quickly toward him and back again right away to the girls. Then Higgins said, "Lads! Come at once!" And they absolutely ignored him. They really liked looking at the naked girls. I just about laughed myself off the couch. Anyhow I love that show, love Tom Selleck, love Higgins and love the lads. ![]() |

I loved watching that show when I was a kid! I totally think he is Robin Masters. But why hide it? Heh-heh very cool show. I also used to watch Night Rider, Macgyver, and what was that show with the cool helicopter in it? Thunder Hawk? Ah...that brings me back to the good days of television. Before all this reality t.v. took over.

Hey!!! Look at the top of this page. There are advertisements for/ about that show. How does that happen? Gee, interesting. Someone must be watching. LOL.

I may be young,but I HATE the cartoons now-a-days!
All of this "Reality TV!" That's Bull!!!! Have any of you heard of Amish in the City? That has got to be the gayest show EVER! The Amish WOULD NOT live in the city. They consider the city to be the works of the devil.....They are REALLY religious! |

Well, actually...I didn't mean for this to go in the direction of T.V. or I would have put it in the media forum. (I mean...it's OK, if that's really where you want to take this)
I was kind of hoping for some take off on the trainability of dogs, if anyone knew of any other dogs (even on TV) that they might be able to share some stories that stuck out in their minds of some specific tricks or abilities these dogs have/had. I am so impressed by the ability of some dogs and some trainers. And what dedication it must take to get to that level of excellence. |

How about Petey in (the original-black & white) The Little Rascals? He was an APBT who worked with children everyday of his life! I love Petey!

I loved the movie Benji when I was a kid. I think it's cool they can teach a dog to limp, lay down and look sooo sad. It would make me cry as a kid to see Benji lost, cold and hurt in the movie. How in the world do they teach a dog to do that?
