I thought this was pretty cool:
Friend vs. Best Friend! Friend: Calls your parents by Mr. and Mrs. and Grandma, by Grandma Best friend: Calls your parents dad and momma and Grandpa, Gram momma! Friend: would bail you out of jail Best friend: Would be sitting next to you sayin "We stomped the HECK outta that guy!!" Friend: has never seen you cry Best friend: Won't tell everyone else you cried...just laugh about it with you in privately when you're not still down. Friend: never asks for anything to eat or drink Best friend: Knows where the dishes are and helps himself and is the reason your parents hide all the good food. Friend: asks you to write down a number. Best friend: Asks you to remember the last 4 digits while they remember the first 3 Friend: borrows your stuff for a few days then gives it back. Best friend: Loses your stuff and tells you, "My bad...here's a tissue." Friends: would knock on your front door Best friends: Walk right in and say "I'M HOME" Friends: are only through highschool Bestfriends: They are for life Friends: will be there to take your drink away from you when they think you've had enough Best Friends: Will look at you stumbling all over the place and say "Take that drink to the back of the throat and have another one!" |

Oh my goodness. Am I a loser or what? I do the digits thing with my best best friend (I fondly call her my "sister")
Haha, yes, I do believe that qualifies me as a loser with no life. |

Those are all so very very true.. My best friend and I do every single one of those things...except for the sitting in jail part... Unless you count sitting in detention in high school... Another thing we do that my other friends and I don't do is drive through downtown with the BeeGee's "Stayin Alive" playing with the windows rolled down. That always gets some heads turned... One thing we would like to do is have him dress up in a gorilla costume and have me in a banana suit, then go running through town with him chasing me.. With us, sanity is very much overrated.. I also trust his driving over any of my other friends... I will never ride with one of my friends ever again because I think he has a severe case of tourettes syndrome and he punches the roof of the car, then the dash, then starts moving back and forth in the seat while hitting the steering wheel while manically laughing.. I don't trust another one of my friend's driving because he has a severe case of lead foot syndrome, doesn't stay on his own side of the road, power slides around corners... He claims he wasn't doing anything wrong, but if you have three 17 - 20 year old girls in the back seat and me up front and we're all screaming, holding on for dear life and closing our eyes, you're doing something wrong... And yet, I can get in the car with my best friend behind the wheel and not be scared... Now my brother's driving is scary as hell... Speed limit: 60mph. Visbility: maybe 250 - 300 feet. It was pouring down rain and yet my brother does 80 mph and tailgates... I wouldn't mind this if I had a couple good drinks first or if the brakes were better or if we were in a different vehicle all together... Next time I go to Seattle, either I'm driving or I'm taking the train / bus... No way in hell will I ride in the city with my brother driving ever again...
Woops, I turned this into a rant. Sorry! Well, kinda/sorta... Just saying that I trust my best friend's driving more than I trust any of my other friend's or brother's. |
