First night home
First night was good, actually. I thought Dakota would have some separation issues, he was already bonded with the breeder, but he didn't mind staying here with me a bit. Dakota slept all night in his crate, Ripley slept all night in the cat carrier.. And first thing in the morning, I took him outside, and he did his business within 5 seconds of standing on the grass.
So, now I guess all I'm up for is the dominance wars, further house training, obedience training, correcting the *a-hem* 'mounting' problem and learning how to control his big ego without hurting his sensitive feelings. ![]() |
