First night home

First night was good, actually. I thought Dakota would have some separation issues, he was already bonded with the breeder, but he didn't mind staying here with me a bit. Dakota slept all night in his crate, Ripley slept all night in the cat carrier.. And first thing in the morning, I took him outside, and he did his business within 5 seconds of standing on the grass.

So, now I guess all I'm up for is the dominance wars, further house training, obedience training, correcting the *a-hem* 'mounting' problem and learning how to control his big ego without hurting his sensitive feelings.

Umm.. Hard to say.. Ripley is being a little snot, but he's relaxing around Dakota.. He's not happy about having to share his mommy, he's very possessive of me.

Hi there when my puppy first had his night at my house he wanted until 6:00am to wake me up and go to the toilet. I thought that was really good. I was so prood of him.lol

Yep, that's about how long Dakota waited too. First time all summer that I've gotten up at 6AM!
