Gone, back, and gone again
Hello all,

I have been off of here for about 2 weeks due to the holiday season (hubby was home hogging the computer! lol). So I am back today (briefly) to pass on some good news, but not sure when I'll be back.

Good news: Elite is going to NC to a trainer there who is going to get her in shape for her SchH III title. She will be there until March (ugh) when there will be a trial. If she gets this title, she would be (to the best of my knowledge) the only breedable, SchH III, German Import in the U.S.

Now, in order to get her there, the hubby decided "Let's just jump in the rig and drive to NC!" Ok, so there will be me, him, Elite, Maverick(our new Shiba Inu, more on him later) and Max(the JRT)all piled into an 18-wheeler. Am I nuts? Some would say yes!! But I cannot pass up this opportunity for Elite. So I am going to be on the road for about 2 weeks! But we have a laptop with wireless internet, so I will try to pop in on occassion to let everyone know how things are going!

Hello again! Well here we are, on the road, bouncing around! LOL All the pups are doing great. Max and Elite are hogging the bed, and Maverick is on the top bunk. Last night Elite tried to sleep with Greg......she got in with him, then proceeded to put all 4 feet against the back wall and PUSH. LOLOL She finally moved to the end of the bed, and everyone got some sleep. Max was on the top bunk with me, and being the spoiled brat that he is, he wouldn't sleep unless his head was on the pillow and his body under the blanket!! Hopefully tonight will be better for all of us. LOL

It looks like we will be able to spend time with the trainer this weekend. We will actually get there a day early, so we are going to train with Elite on Saturday, then go train with his club on Sunday. This is a bonus, because I get to see his training in the works, show him all about Elite, and get some training in for me!! I'm going to take LOTS of pics, so be prepared when I get back!!

Just a quick update.....I'll check back in soon!

LOL I can just picture Elite pushing off that wall! Glad you all are doing well and the trip is running ahead of schedule enough that you'll get to be there for some of the training!

Good Morning! This is turning into such an adventure. Woke up to snow on the ground in Indianapolis...but 20 miles later (and slightly south) it's all gone!

Sleeping went much better, in fact, we all slept in....only 600 miles left!!

GSD....The trainer's name is Richard Schuck (sp?)...he has been training for a touch over 10 years, and has a degree in zoology. Ever heard of him?

Anyway, I'm going to try to post some pictures....it's a different process with a USB port/cable and all. I'll let you know if I get that accomplished!
