Good Day Bad day Here.. Good Day don't have to work today..

Bad Day its flooding like crazy here..

Roads and bridges are washed out :shiver: .. Hurricane Dumped tons of rain here.. Started raining Sunday and its not stopped just yet.. Just a sprinkling at the present..

Mountain Counties Under Flood Warnings

Governor Mike Easley declares a state of emergency for North Carolina. Heavy rains pounded the mountains into Tuesday evening, which led to road closings and evacuations all across the western part of the state. Roads are covered in water and several people had to leave their homes. A nursing home in Haywood County had to evacuate its residents. A number of school closings were also a result of heavy flooding.

Oh wow Lil' paws. Are you going to have to evacuate? This is terrible. How is your house? What all do you have to do to prepare in case you have to evacuate? This must make you and your folks nervous. I wish you the best and send my thoughts and prayers along your way. Let us know how it goes. Nataural disasters can be horrific.

no we are just a few miles away from the river so hopefully it wont be here.
But, Mom lives fairly close to it. For evac.. Go to closest High School or the Red Cross.. Joey was gone to pick up a car earlier the road he went on was covered by water.. He said the water was up to the doors. :shiver:
