What's the most embarassing thing your dog does..
What's the most embarrassing thing your dog(s) do when you have company over or you go to visit with someone?
I'd have to say one of the embarassing things that my dogs do, is Denali has inspect every guest that comes in, so she'll sniff their butt. And I'm not just talking poking her nose towards you butt, I mean she just gets right up on ya and sniffs. How about you guys? |

My Zada puts her ears flat against her head like she's going to get a beating, everytime she meets new people. I don't know why she does this because she LOVES people, and has never had a bad thing happen to her.

Probably the most embarrassing thing the bully crew does is either belch loudly or fart loudly when meeting someone new, never fails, at least one of the crew will welcome them the our bully world as only a bully can do! lol
Anymore it really doesn't bother me but it sure is embarrassing for some of the folks that visit! lol Often, how they react gives me an idea of how they are as dog parents....especially if they are there visiting because their interested in a pup. ![]() |

When we have people over for dinner, we ask them (beg them even) not to feed any of the dogs table scraps. Because with five dogs, sitting around after dinner with our guests, several dogs with gas is not funny.
It's ok if its family or good friends, but if it's new neighbors or new friends, we may not ever see them again. Bye, Bye! |

luce's favorite thing in the world is sticking her tongue in people's ears, nose, and mouth.

Oh you guys! I am
Well, I would have to pick my two Chihuahuas. They leap up on guests' laps and start licking and wagging furiously. I tell people that they can say, "enough." But they just say, "Oh....it's OK..." LOL. Finally they'll settle down....the dogs, I mean. Well, the guests too. Lyric has his fair share of methane production at times. Let's see....he thinks people he doesn't know well need to be scrutinized carefully for about the first 15 minutes. So he stands back and watches them. They are suprised he isn't outgoing like a Lab or like the Chihuahuas, isn't just rushing over to gush over them.... and think something's wrong with him. LOL. But then after a little sizing up, he goes over and sticks his face in their face and wants to be petted. |

Jacques, for some reason, will pee on people when we're outside. Luckily, our neighbor is a dog person, so she found the little jerk more funny than annoying.
With the big dogs, generally my shyer ones will hide out in their houses. The dog that I can think of right now is Norman. Norman loves to steal hats and mittens if you give him the chance (especially if they're wool or fur, but he likes synthetics too). |

My guys never do this unless someone is over the house that new. They moon walk across the living room rug. I just want to crawl under the couch and hide. Everyone laughs, I do to afterwards but hey its only when you have company.

Priscilla is almost 5 months old and has a terrible problem with submissive urination. My girlfriend came over yesterday in a new wool coat and started babying her in a high pitched voice and picked her up before I could warn her. Priscilla peed on her coat. I was so embarrased. From now on I'll remember to warn people when they walk in the door.
