Yup, 600 debarked dogs in unknown conditions... The owners don't even plan on living onsite.
And did you see they don't have to fill out the other forms, because they are all toy breeds, under 12 pounds, so even though they have 600 dogs, it will only count as 6 animals, because they judge them according to their weight compared to cattle.

That is just ridiculous! How could they even consider a request like that...this isn't a herd of cattle that can be left grazing!!
Don't imagine they would give a hoot about a Canadian comment but I sure hope all the uproar will make them think twice.

This is outrageous, I'm speachless. I cant believe it, this is just so horrible. I'm posting my comment, this is so unbelievable.........and the part of about the 600 dogs = "only" 8 cattle- I'm shocked they think of these poor dogs as "just" cattle- and the owner isnt even going to live on the premesis- oh this is setting a real good example to the younger generations - dispicable.

Edit : I posted my comment and I'm emailing this to every one I know and asking them to send it to their friends, this is just unacceptable that they actually approved of a Puppy Mill. I am happy with the comments that the artical recieved though- I'm soooo happy that so many are speaking their minds. Maybe it'll be enough to make them(the commitioners) change their minds on the approval of this mill..I hope anyway.

I wrote to them. I'm so mad I could just fly out there and raise some holly hell. Do you know the millers DO NOT put one dime into their breeding dogs. They also do the de-barking themselves without the aid of gas or pain killers. They breed these dogs at every heet till they are dead or cant breed any longer, whereas they then kill the dog. Some go totally insane because they never get out of those wire cages for any reason. They usually go insane and chew the wire till they have no teeth left. They are fed old bakery stale bread, and expired free dog food of any kind. They don't get fresh water and can go days drinking horrible stuff that was once water. When will this madness ever stop? We just have to get some laws changed in congress!!!!
