Sad yet excited
Well I haven't been around much lately--been very busy--I was sick with the flu for about 1-2 wks UGH--missed 3 days of work but thank goodness it is all over--Unforn. now my 9yr old daughter has it most likely UGH--I feel so bad for her- fever running around 103--but she is handling it well...NOW on to the dogs..
Harley is doing great--he again has a Bladder infection but I think we caught it early--so he is doing well...As for Cheyenne well we ended up giving her up..She was a great pup but her and harley decided they where not going to work out their issues as well as we had thought or hoped.. I guess he just likes all the attention..and wants to be the only dog??
NOW--I have been approached about a Bullmastiff bitch that is looking for a pet home--I have turned the offer down because I dont now how Harley would do--HOWEVER-- the lady that has her is a breeder/show owner etc...She shows Bullmastiffs and I have met her and she is GREAT--she is the son of the Groomer we have at our clinic.. something clicked between us when we met and I adore her dogs.. I have told them Im interested in showing and of course being a boxer lover I would love to show boxers BUT thats a very hard group to get into and show--IM also in love with her dogs *bullmastiffs* so we are in the process of having her Mentor me in the show ring--where I will be showing one of her dogs--She has many that she shows and is willing to show me the *ropes* so that I can learn more about showing--- I HAVE never done any showing before...so IM very excited that I will be getting a chance to learn all about the show life---She has a litter on the ground now {born last monday} and hopefully will have a few show pups which I will most likely be learning with--so IM so excited---hopefully some day in the future I will meet all you show folks in the ring somewhere with a Bullmastiff......I think it will be great fun.....Wish me luck
