Puppy sitting :)
So I am watching my friends dog Ava, while he is out of town for the next couple days. Shelby and her get along surprisingly well considering they have a lot of the same attitude problems. Well it is kind of snowy/rainy down here lately so I take them to the dog park and they get filthy... I am used to this with Jackson and Shelby who take all of 5 minutes to wash, clean and dry, but Ava is some sort of Corgi/GSD mix, so she has lots of long sheeding hair. It has probably been a little while since my friend really groomed her well, but I spent like seemed like forever combing her and it just wouldn't stop
Not sure how you long coated breed lovers do it It has been lots of fun having her here, and I think Shelby is a little nervous that she is no longer the only dog on the block. Just thought I would share ![]() |

Aw! Yes, the longer coated breeds with that undercoat makes a lot of work! That's why when I'm telling people about Sibes... if you don't like hair, don't get a sibe! LOL

Corgi's are very notorious shedder's, and need a good daily brushing. Your very sweet to get her all brushed out and I bet she felt like a new pupster. Maybe you should tell your friend to brush her every day because of the type of coat she has.
Shelby is acting like an only child. She will learn to like having another four legged around if Ava stays a couple of weeks. ![]() |

It has been a lot of fun so far, but a bit of work seeing how now I have to take two dogs out. (I live in an apartment, and although I have permission to keep Shelby there, although she is over the 35 lbs limit, I def don't have permission to keep her as well) She is quiet, and I will just take them out one at a time to avoid people noticing me walking two dogs in and out.

cal - Jackson was always around, but he let Shelby "have" me if that makes any sense. Plus I don't think my friend will let me keep her past Wednesday
