Northwest Meeting

So.... Any idea when it is?

I'm eager to meet ya'll, and I think Mazie is too.

I don't care much for beer, but I do love pizza.

Mazie is a bit hyper around other dogs and doesn't know when playtime is over... She starts obedience classes on the 18th of Feb, so hopefully that will help with that..

Oh that would be fantastic Mazie dog! Mazie would meet her match with Lyric. LOL. He loves to play that way.

Well, I'm thinking I'll go over in mid to late March. My daughter's b-day is the 29th and I'd like to be there for that, so maybe before or after that. (?) What's your schedule like? We'll see what Debbie and Barrett's looks like too and try to figure out something. Anyone else?

It's amazing how the dogs, so far all enjoy eachother...no fights or anything....just amazing.

Well, we'll have to see if we can coordinate another deal. We were thinking of a slumber party this time because it's just too short a time to spend together...just one day. But RBW (if you're reading this) you can't keep being the host. Your hospitality shouldn't have to extend to the point of making your place a ritual. Hmmm. But that beach! OMG. It's gorgeous! There's always my daughter's apartment in west Seattle. But then we have to be so careful about leashes every time they go out for anything. That's not so fun. Well, we'll be thinking.

I don't mind being host at all! I'm very hard to get off the Island, anyway. Don says I have Island-itis! There are also a lot of open spaces here for the dogs to have fun off-leash, without bothering anybody.

And if a strange dog comes around, I can always put the whammy on them.

Maybe we can have a picnic and dog walk during the afternoon, and then a slumber party later that evening. Remember there's a cabin, (with a view), for rent across the street from me.

We'll have to go for a walk at South Whidbey State Park, too.

Yup I got the weiners!! Anyone bringing the buns? I hope we can all get together, the last two meetups have been a blast. My abs were sore the next morning from laughing so hard!

As far as I know, my schedule is open until June, so any time between now and then would be good for me.

The biggest factor keeping me from going is the lack of a car, which I hope to have one of by then. Meanwhile, I'll look at other means of transportation... I know my dad would take me if I bribed him well enough... Like first base line seats at a Mariner's game.. LOL. We'll see what happens.

I'll be sure to pack my digital video camera with me as well as my regular digital camera.. With all of our cameras combined, I'm sure we could get some decent shots.

Calgal...how far are you from Puyallup? LOL. Maybe it wouldn't be such a long drive. You could make a real vacation out of it. (?)

I'm a couple hours south of Puyallap... Exit 40 off I-5 and west about 40 miles. I'm going to be in Seattle on the 28th of February through probably the 10th of March...

Most of my family lives in California and I go there a lot for visits. Where do you two live? Maybe next time I come down we can have a meetup there. I lived there most of my life so I am comfortable driving anywhere in CA. I know the areas between SFO and LAX pretty well and I have been to San Diego, Carlsbad, Long Beach... I can find just about anywhere.
