Wow. It says until Feb 3rd. That's today. How is it going so far? You're in southern Wa, right? Gosh, I remember some of those wind storms. It's been about 5 years now, since I've left the Seattle area. We don't get quite that much wind here. And those avalanches are so creepy. I am thinking about another trip to visit over there. But I need to wait till the snow slows down over here. (might have to shovel my roof again...ugggggg, terrible job) Are you in a flood area? How's that looking? (if you are)

I better keep the weiners on a leash outside.....don't want them to blow away! As for me, I have to work out in that weather today and tomorrow! YUCK!! I'm going to be waterlogged!

Yikes!! It's here!!!! RBW, don't blow away!! It is already gusting to 36 mph and it is expected to get to 70 mph by the morning. My gutters are over flowing with the high amount of rain! The lights just flickered so time to turn off the computer.

I think I just lost my storm window... It's gusting at about 46 down here right now, suppose to get between 70 and 90 tomorrow sometime... Ack! Mazie doesn't really know what to think of it... I had to take her on the side of the house away from the wind so she could do her business.. she's now zonked out on my floor beside me.. hehe.. I love storms..

You guys are getting the rain? We're getting the SNOW. I think we're expecting around 30-40cm! There are buses stranded on the streets because they couldn't get up the incline, and cars are everywhere in ditches.

It's the really wet snow, almost like it's "slushing" instead of snowing. Makes for some greasy driving. It's crazy! or should I say B-A-N-A-N-A-S!

Well, after 26 hours of no electricity, we're now back up and running!

My boyfriend is out of town visiting his daughter and grandkids, so it was just Tia and me, huddled by the fire. I have a cooking surface on the woodstove, so I can heat water and cook food. I went down to the barn and got some fresh eggs from the girls, and had sausage and eggs for dinner. We survived just fine, it was kinda fun!

The sun is shining and it looks like a great week ahead. I wouldn't be surprised if we go right into spring-like weather from here on out. The past two years it was like winter to summer with no in between. I remember having to water in March last year!

I guess I'll go and respond to all the mean things Carrie has been saying about Cesar, while I've been huddled here...in the cold...in the dark...
