Snow
Well, woke up this morning, looked out the bedroom window.. and it was snowing.
Big humungous flakes, it was really dumping it... was so pretty. First snow of the season. It snowed hard all morning, but with the ground being rather warm still, not much stuck around. I let the pugs out to potty when we got up, had to go out and give them a nice little shove down the steps.. wound up having to stand out there in the snow, in my bathrobe, while they did their business. Silly pugs. ![]() |

Wow!!! Pugdog! You're ahead of me here in north Idaho. Where abouts do you live?
Yeah....I'm not ready yet for that either Zoee. Once it comes, it's here to stay until April or May. I love it. It's bright and cheerful and beautiful, but it's here for soooo long. Summer was too short this year. It is getting pretty chilly here at night lately. A-h-h How do your Pugs like it Pugdog? Do they get extra playful and silly? My dogs love it. |

Carrie, I'm in Elko, Nevada, I'm not that far from Idaho. It is early for our first snow. I don't mind it.. cooler weather means my pugs can get out for more for walks and things. I don't have to stress so much about them overheating. This is Winston trying out a new shirt for winter LOL Winston |

I bet Kino will love it. All that fur is PERFECT!
Cute sweater on Winson. He looks like he's ready. I've got a bomber jacket for Lyric that he looks simply dashing in. Don't have a picture yet. And little reversable fleese on one side and looks like suede on the other for the little dogs. They all hate their coats. So, they rarely use them. The Chi's and Dobe are good for about 15-17 degrees and any cooler, Mom makes them wear their coats. But more often than not it's a balmy 25 - 32 degrees. As long as they're on our walks off leash where they can really move, they're fine. Last year we got several days of 30 below which is very rare for here. Then we only went out to potty and right back in....too darn cold for a walk. |

Snow? Already? :shiver: Wow....thank goodness I live in the south. It only snows here like 2 or 3 times a year(and thats pushin it). And i'm originaly from Florida...which it never snows there.....which explains why I hate cold weather. Believe it or not, Hershey hates the snow...all that fur...I guess it's because he is from Florida as well(not to mention he gets burried, lol...but you would think he would like that..I know Maggie would). hehe My cat hates the snow too...I have to get out the litter pan because she will not step foot outside(guess she doesn't want to get those "perfect" little paws wet...she is so spoiled
)...I have to throw her out when I know its gonna rain for a couple days...or else she will use it in the house...she hates me when I do that..lol. I can't wait till Maggie sees snow for the first time. |

Bailey is a little weenie when it comes to rain and snow. She does much better when I but her bomber jacket on her. With out it she wants to be picked up and shivers like she is freezing to death. She won't step one foot out the door if it is raining. My husband told me the other night Bailey was whining at the back door and really wanted outside. He knew it was raining so he opened the door to show her so she would stop whining to go out. She bolted out the door and ran half way across the yard before she realized she was getting wet. She stopped suddenly and started walking backwards all the way back into the house. Hubby said it was like he had hit the reverse button on a movie.
