Rubberband...

first off we do NOT own any rubberbands...

well today I get home from work, im relaxing before I have to drive to school.

Kino starts acting wierd, wont lay down, but isnt really being hyper either, he seemed upset, very nervious.

So Im looking at him and see something dark near his rear end, and dark things are pretty easy to see on white dogs.
So I get up to take a closer look and realize something is dangling, I figure the inevitable finally happend and he had a little left over stuck to his fur, so I grab a wad of paper towels and go to grab it out of his fur when I realize its a rubberband still stuck inside him, yet hanging out- with stuff on it. ....

I freaked out, got all upset and called our vet, almost started crying. The vets receptionist that I was talking to is a family friend so shes trying to calm me down, but wants to speak to a vet about it to tell me what to do...in the mean time im on hold so I took Kino back outside, where lucky for us he finished his business and got it out before she even came back from me being on hold.

We dont own rubberbands!!

I think there might have been one from when we were cleaning out our closet that he found...I guess

Wow. I can understand how upsetting that was for you. Boone is forever gobbling stuff up before I can tell him to drop it or take it from him. I'm waiting for the day something similiar to your story will happen to me.

I'm glad Kino made it through that whole ordeal okay.

I know how awful that is. I have long hair and Bailey must get it in her mouth off the floor sometimes. I see it come out and it scares her because the hair isn't all the way out and the poo clings to it and it drags behind her. The worst thing she ate was an ear plug. I use them at work when I am out by the airplanes. We saw her chewing on it and before we could get it away she swallowed it. We had to check her poo for 2 days. I was worried it would swell up and get stuck in her intestines. She passed it o.k. and now I make sure i throw them away before I come home.

Awhile back I visited my friends and their two pugs. Brought my 3 for a little pug party. We walked on the back deck and looked down and saw something sticking out of one of her pug's butts. A small tug and it came out, it looked like grass. Silly dogs.

That happens to Taz all the time. I always feel bad because he freaks out, but what can I do, I swear I shed as much as they do LOL

Glad to hear Kino is ok

She will usually spit them out though. My friends lab will eat anything...we had this game called Bandau and it comes w/ fake plastic beans...well its an eat first ask questions later ordeal...he ate a few of them Dumb dog!...but they passed ok. Im not even gonna mention the other things he has eatin.
