Whew!! LOL I thought you were going to say you pierced your dog's navel or something.
Congratulations! Very cool!
I was in trouble for a month after I got mine pierced against my mom's wishes.

Wow! Cool! I bet you can't wait till you can wear a variety of earrings. How fun. I didn't get mine done till I was about 20 or 21. LOL. Then recently I had to get them re-done as one of them had grown back. Lyric smacked me in the head with his head and it swelled up something awful. OUCH!!! LOL. Watch out for boney dog heads.

can and should are two very different things....
I do know people who have their dogs ears pierced, but I think its just wrong...
same with dog tattoos (other then marking reasons).

Like there is a Bulldog in town, I cant think of his name this minute, but hes a doll, his owner is a tattoo artist (he did NOT do the tattoo- the dogs previous owner did who was later arested for animal cruelty) but the dog knows how to skateboard, and will pull skatboards out from under people so he can ride it, but he has a tattoo of a star on his chin.

Ugh, besides the fact that it's just completely unnecessary and mean IMO, I wouldn't be able to SEE any earring under all of Ripley or Dakota's hair.

Cool that you got your ears pierced.. I've had mine done since I was 6 or 7, but now that I have a puppy, I never wear earrings, because puppies LOOOOVE to bite earrings and pull on them.
