Hair cuts

I got about 5 inches of hair cut off today, now I have this chin-length razor-cut style that feels SO lightweight.. I love it, and it looks better than my longish hair did.

Anyways, while I was getting my hair cut, there was a girl beside me that I knew a little bit from when I went to public school, and we started talking about haircut disasters.
Her mom is the dog groomer we go to, and she said that when she was 4 or 5, she wanted to do HER hair like her mom did the dog's hair, so she took the clippers and took off all but about an inch of hair on a 3-inch-spot on the side of her head.

When I had Grandpa's mini Schnauzer, Sam, we took her in to get her groomed regularly.. Well, when we moved, we had to change groomers. I took her to a groomer that looked nice and sanitary and told them that I wanted her to be clipped, and to have her beard shortened.
Somehow, this woman interpreted it that I wanted her to be STRIPPED (which was totally unnecessary because she had been clipped for YEARS) and she clipped the beard off entirely.

Any strange hair/grooming stories, dog or human?

lolFor my last hair cut I asked for it to be trimmed, my hair was to the bottom of my ears and I was thinking of growing it out… for some reason the hair dresser thought I wanted more layer put in (I had five in all ready) and that I somehow wanted the sides and back to be different lengths, to make a long story short, It was horrible. .I had to have someone else cut it so I could attest go out in public. The dogs don’t go to the groomers so I don’t have any stories there.

When I was in middle school I had my mom cut my hair. My hair was down to my lower back. She insisted on layering it. Well....I guess I didnt know what she ment by 'layering' it. I wound up w/ a very short mullit! I was so mad at her...and I have curly hair...so I had a poofy mullit! She went to beauty school a couple years back. So now she CAN cut my hair...but i'm weary of it, lol. :shiver: She cuts our poms hair now...no problems w/ that..yet. My friend had a long hair cat...well they shaved it but kept the hair around its face...it looked like a lil lion, but IMO it looked aweful.
