Survived Jeanne the guys and I are OK lost power for a day glad to be back no major damage but I have had enough and ready to raise the white flag. Still have till Nov when the season is over. :shiver:

I live in Sarasota County right next to Desoto. Arcadia got hit real bad.

My dad got arrested after Charley came because he broke the curfew...he was swimming down at Peace River(which i think is crazy...gators everywhere).

When I said Arcadia was hit hard I ment by Charley.So your dad likes to swim with the gators just like we like to swim with sharks in the Gulf of Mexico. Know the Pace river well have done a lot of canoeing there. I live in Venice since 1989 and this is the worst hurricane season that I have been through and I hope that we do get any more .

Oh...I was wondering, lol. Yep...my dad is crazy

He said that when he was young he and his brothers used to go catch the gators(to eat..

deffinatly not for me..lol). He said that my granny always got mad at them cuz she would open their freezer and there would be alligator parts in there..lol. (it was legal back then btw...least thats what he told me lol). He says that they should open up a season cuz the gators are gettin over populated.

I'm glad you're OK. That had to be so frightening. I don't know how you all do it. I guess it's so beautiful that it makes it worth it for you.

I'm too chicken for all these natural disasters...lived in Western Washington long enough with the earthquakes and now live somewhere where there really isn't much except I guess forest fire danger. That wouldn't be cool either. (oh geeze, what a pun)

Well, I hope too that your hurricanes are over for now. And I'm glad you're all right. I know there are many who are not all right and my thoughts and prayers go out to them.
