It's time for shorts, T-shirts and fans. Time to pull down the shutters when the sun shines on the windows. Time to go out only in the mornings and evnings, and to think: what on EARTH am I going to do to walk the dog at MIDDAY. Time to go about the house panting and wish for an ice age. Time to spend 6h at school with neither parties feeling like doing anythin at all. Time to eat your icecream at supersonic speed because it's melting as fast as you can slurp. Time to think: sunny Spain? HAH! Time to get 41*****ºC in the shade. Time to long for July and Edimburgh. Time for mosquitoes and spots everywhere. Time for sleepless nights due to their whining and the heat.

Help me

But...

Ávila. Bang in the middle, in the region of Castilla y León, which is next to Madrid. Could be worse, I suppose, but the mountains sort of bounce the heat off and send it right back.

I lived in Madrid for three year and have always wanted to go back to Spain to live. We have been looking at property for sale in and around Malaga. It's such a beautiful area.

I wish summer was coming sooner....Here where I live (and others) you would think it was February again.....we had a sudden cold front drop in on us...wind, rain, and for me, low 40's F. I want my 70's back!! LOL

bigdog, isn't it terrible here? I'm an hour outside of Chicago, and it's just frigid. And to think, I'd packed up my heavy coat already.

Its awful! I'm outside Chicago too

I hate cold weather and especially all the rain we have been getting lately.
