Thumbs down So, So, Depressing!

It has been raining for a week here in Massachusetts and it is so depressing and not good hiking or walking weather and lots of flooding going on they are talking 7 - 12 inches of rain when it is over. We have roughly had between 4 - 8 inches already in different parts of Mass. and its not really going to let up until next Wednesday. But on the sunny side of things I have gone out and bought a full rain suit for myself so Cai and I can still go for our walks. I feel like a rubber lady in it! LOL! But hey, it works and I stay nice and dry . I can not deny a Cattle dog his walk just because of a little rain .

I hear ya! It's been raining here all week as well. I havn't minded it too much, I've been stuck resting up in the house anyway...LOL. The dogs have had a blast with it though, getting all dirty and romping around in the "swamp" out back.

They just announced a State of Emergency in Massachusetts, so the rain is pretty serious!

Shaggy, I know what you mean! Poor DaKota doesn't know what to do with herself. Glitzie hates it & refuses to go outside at all.
At work, it gets stinky & cold. TG my boss' husband is back & can do the major cleaning in the kennel.

Wow, I didn't realize you were getting it that bad! I just went to check the weather on MSN for Windsor, to see when this rain here was gonna stop, and notice the Alert for Boston. That's too bad, I hope it stops for you soon, crazy weather.

So would now be a bad time to tell everyone it has been in the 80's and 90's here for the past week?

Hope you guys get a respite from the rain SOON.

To those who live in states or other countries that need the RAIN, you can have it! I have never seen anything like this around here. 60% of a town in Mass is under water or flooded I should say with evacuations and all. There are lots of closed off streets as well. I hope it ends soon. I just saw a weather report and it said 8 - 12 inches of rain that to me should be snow totals not rain totals . Incredible!

Oh it's been raining in Michigan for days! What's worse is that last week there were a few days that temps. were in the mid-high 70's and it was sunny, now it's low 50's and rain . We are building a house and since we haven't put in any grass, our yard is one giant mud pit! I can't keep Chloe clean, and she has made a muddy mess on our new flooring. Go Away Rain!

We had a week like that, nothing but rain.. We thought it would never stop- every time we'd think it was over a new system would fly by and dump more rain on us... Nooooow its very nice, warm but not hot, sunny and gorgeous. I'm going for a small hike tomorrow and me and Beau are heading to the park for some re-call training- its actually nice enought for the dogs to swim!! Hope you guys get some sun soon..

I know how you feel shandoggy1. We're getting hit with the same thing here in southern Maine. I drove my son to school this morning and saw some roads blocked off. I normally don't mind weather all that much but I'm feeling gloomy from not seeing the sun for a while now. Plus, one of my dogs has decided that they had enough with the rain, Miss Kassie pee pee pants has dubbed the kitchen her new pee spot. Back to the ol’ staying out with her in the rain till she goes. Weee!
